Back in da club

Well result has been out for a while, just been far too busy to get a free moment to blog it. To cut it short my contract has been renewed. Thou with a condition in place; I make more of an effort to work weekends. Which I still have misgivings about. Surely if I HAVE to work OT then it should be made into scheduled hours. But oh well, small price, and if they wanna pay me a wad of cash for doing weekend work no matter how unproductive, why should I resist?

I heard rumours that my foreman was giving a dressing down by the higher ups regarding my firing. I would really like to believe all of it but as with all stories I hear, I prefer to have my reservations on it all. It was also nice to hear how much confidence others had in my work and that those working with me were on the whole happy to work with me. Had alot of good feed back. Thou like the afore mentioned story I prefer to take only part of it in. After all you can't trust all you hear these days can ya?

Either way I will say none of it would have worked out the way it did if it weren't for friends. A real big thanks to all. Be it simply via a show of support or sorting out avenues for a job, should the worst have occurred. It was good to know I wouldn't be without some kind of work. Thanks to all of you. Special mentions to 2 in particular thou. "L" for getting things in motion, setting the stage and initiating the turn of the tide, yet again I am in your debt. And to Luvin. Had it all gone terribly wrong I'm sure your option would have turned things. Really appreciate the offer of assistance. Thou I would add that resorting to it could be likened to opening a walnut with a sledgehammer. Words can't describe my gratitude. Thanks again to everyone.

Punted

Nothing like something boiling your blood to make you start blogging again is there? Was just informed that I will not have my job contract renewed due to "constant under performing & sub-par results"

Anyone who has worked with me I feel knows the deal. I do my job to the best of my ability, I pride myself that jobs I take on are done by the book and to the best of my ability and if that is not up to standard for some people then I am not sure those are the people I really want to work for.

When I started to type this post it was gonna be a million words long, the contents of which I am sure you can guess. But sometimes the best things are left unsaid. Those who I have worked along side, past and present, will have an inkling something here is amiss.

As it stands I would be out within a months time. I will of cause appeal against them, simply because I have paid up money for some engagements that last well into the 3rd quater of the year. So leaving so soon would not be beneficial. My agent is very cheezed off and has already started asking questions. But we'll see the outcome of the appeal. For now best start sprucing up that CV.
